Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship
To help promote SANS’ goal to create a more diverse, inclusive and equitable chorus, we have created a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship Fund to help provide trip, singing, and ride assistance to singers from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
For 2022-23, we seek to raise $10,000 to fund as many new singers as we can. We'll also work to raise an additional $5000 for others including current SANS singers who can't afford the full cost of travel.
Applicants may request full or partial funding for:
Annual Chorus Tuition
Ride Assistance to and from Rehearsals and Concerts
Trip Costs

Because these funds are limited, we would like to learn more about you, your musical background, and the reasons for your interest in Sharing A New Song and this year's Civil Rights Tour. Because one of the goals of these scholarships is to increase the diversity of the SANS Chorus, we will ask about your gender, race, and age.
